My old trustworthy computer crashed and I have to re-install the DeLorme plug-in on my new computer. Following your instructions above, I tried to send a geocache to my PN-40 but got this error message, "500-Internal server error. There is a problem with the reso9urce you are looking for and it cannot be displayed".

Please advise how I can get the plug-in setup.

I love the new "cache register" and have already used it to load a PQ onto my PN-40. Unfortunately, when I changed locations, I told the cache register to empty all the remaining caches from the PN-40, which it did. But now I can't get either the cache register, or Topo8 to load anything into the PN-40. I tried the "Send to GPS" on geocaching.com, but when it tries to load the cache it comes up with a "waypoint indexing problem" notice?

MY PN-40 has been working great. I updated to explorer 8 and now when I send to gps I can only load 1 geocache and when I load the next cache it replaces the first one. I reloaded firmware and send geocache to gps software. No memory problem, less than 100 caches still in gps from earlier.

Can this OS X firmware updater for the PN-40 somehow be repurposed to work with a PN-20?

I am into hiking in deep woods, I have used a Garmin-72 for years because of the
track back. never got lost. Then i saved for months to purchase the PN-40 so I would have better terrain maps. It has nothing but topo 7'0 the other maps will (NOT) download. I read about geocaching so i took the PN-40 along with my trusty Garmin-72 the PN-40 was always off the cache about 50 feet. When i turned on the Garmin 72
on and got to the coords I was always standing on the cache. I along with my Son and Daughter have tried everything the Tech's have suggested. still don't work. A $435.00 closet ornament....

This is wonderful for my PN-20. A great GPS and great support here. This is one reason I chose it over Garmin. I did some caching this past weekend and the download feature is genius. Kudos guys.
